Sohrab Gollogly, M.D. Dr. Gollogly is a resident in orthopaedic surgery in the University of Utah's Department of Orthopaedics. He received his bachelor of arts in biology at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and his medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. His interests in computers include developing Internet strategies for connecting patients with doctors and writing scientific content. He is also one of the founders and editors of iScoliosis.com, and is currently the Chief Technical Officer.
Dr. Smith, is an Associate Professor in the University of Utah's Department of Orthopaedics and is the current Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his medical degree at the University of Florida in Gainsville, Florida, completed his residency at the University of Utah and did a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics and spinal deformities at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. His current practice is focused on the treatment of spine deformities in children and pediatric orthopaedics. He is the principal orthopaedist in the PCMC Spina Bifida clinic. His research interests are focused on pediatric spine disorders, the use of the Internet in medical care, spinal biomechanics, the genetics of idiopathic scoliosis, and cost-effective care. Dr. Smith is member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Scoliosis Research Society, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and the Western Orthopaedic Association. He is the Founder and Editor in Chief of iScoliosis.com.
